‘Red’ movie glam heroine Payal Ghosh hosts political aura ‘party’ on her B’day!

In a dazzling-shimmering designer gold-color outfit, Birthday-Girl lead actress and style icon Payal Ghosh was in a “high-flying” mood. Even as she welcomed her specially-invited guests at her late-evening private exclusive celebration party held at the exotic (co-hosts) Club Drag (Eatery and Bar). The guests included her upcoming ‘Red’ thriller movie producer Rajeev Chaudhari and director Ashok Tyagi and eminent style-icon fashion designer Shubh Malhotra. But the celebration event also had its political aura. That’s because the chief guest in whose presence, the birthday cake was cut, was none other than revered political luminary Shri Ramdas Athawale-jee (President of Republican Party of India—RPI) who is also Payal’s “political mentor-guardian”. As is known, Payal is currently heading the Women’s Wing of RPI.

Enthused altruistic-nature Payal, “Am really excited for my birthday (Nov 13th) this year. Not because I’m celebrating it with my family and close friends but because this year, I’m planning to visit an orphanage and spend time with the underprivileged kids there, distributing gifts and happiness along with it. I think their smiles will be my greatest Bday gift. Coincidentally next day, November 14th is also Children’s Day.  and I’m really looking forward to doing my bit for those kids, who deserve every joy in the world. As a way of showing my gratitude to the Lord who gave me one more year of goodness and life, I will try to make a small joyous difference in someone else’s lives, even if it is just for a day.”

On the work front, multi-lingual movies, star-actress Payal is gearing up for her psycho-killer-thriller movie Red (releasing in mid-Jan 2023) where in a “multi-layered bold yet challenging character” she is paired opposite TV superstar Krushna Abhishek. Meanwhile the same ‘Red’ movie producer-director Rajeev Chaudhari has signed Payal, on the eve of her birthday for his next thriller movie ‘Shaque-The Doubt’. With excitement in her voice, the exuberant Payal says “this new movie ‘Shaque’– it’s a priceless B’day gift and I will be shooting for my next movie in London (UK), once again along with my (Red movie) hero Krushna Abhishek, with whom I share a fabulous on-screen chemistry”.

Was Payal planning to plunge into active politics, maybe in the future?  She responds-quips with a counter-question. “Do I look like a politician’, she asks me. She continues, “It was Ramdas Athawale-Sir who approached me to join his RPI Party as the head of the Women’s Wing as he felt my presence would inspire our women. But as also have my acting commitments I am not very active in politics. But I try my best to be there, whenever I am needed. Currently, my focus is on films and acting, Let’s see what future destiny holds in store for me. Honestly speaking, I truly enjoy doing social-welfare-charitable work and in turn, serve my county,” insists Payal whose dream hero and icon-all-time–favorite is mega-star Shah Rukh Khan.

A legendary senior star actor whom Payal has reverence is the ‘late’ Rishi Kapoor.  Recalls the sentimental Ghosh, “Consider myself fortunate that I got to work with ‘Rishi-Uncle’, as a co-star in my movie ‘Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi’ (2017), An awesome actor, once I actually got to know him, he was so friendly, protective and supportive towards me, all thru. At times, I would text him whenever I needed his guidance and he would respond. Even in his Biography, Rishi Kapoor-Sir has mentioned me and spoken about me. Which I feel is such a huge humbling honor for me,” signs off  Payal.
