Somedays, it’s loving, supportive and adorable; the other days, it’s sorrowful, contentious and anxious but its always unique and special in someways. Father’s Day comes around every year as a reminder for us to reflect on our relationships with our fathers and celebrate their variety. In that spirit, Disney+ Hotstar brings you a bouquet of shows and movies that captures the diversity of father-children relationships. From a complex relationship between a father and a daughter to the humorous mistrials of a father giving away his daughter in marriage, here are 16 titles on Disney+ Hotstar that are sure to make you appreciate your father:

Masoom 

On learning about her mother’s strange death, Sana Kapoor played by Samara Tijori points the finger of suspicion at her father, played by Boman Irani. In search of the truth, watch her life spiral out of control.

PariWar 

A loving father who misses his wayward quarrelsome children will stop at nothing to make sure they come home, and Kashiram Narayan knows just the right tricks. The show stars Gajraj Rao, Ranvir Shorey, Yashpal Sharma, Sadiya Siddiqui, Nidhi Singh and Vijay Raaz.

Finding Nemo 

When Nemo, a young clownfish, is unexpectedly carried far from home, his father and Dory embark on a journey to find Nemo. Characters in this movie are voiced by Alexander Gould, Albert Brooks and Ellen DeGeneres.

Modern Family

Jay has grown children, grandchildren and a gorgeous young wife with a preteen son of her own. Together, they must bridge generational and cultural gaps. The popular show, running in its 11th season features Ed O’Neil, Sofie Vargara, Julie Bowen, Ty Burrel, Jesse Tyler Furguson and more.

Cheaper by the Dozen 

A middle-aged couple with twelve children decides to pursue more demanding careers – only to discover that big families and big careers are a difficult mix. When Kate Baker goes on a national book tour to promote her book, her husband, Tom, is left to handle their twelve children on his own. Cast: Steve Martin, Bonnie Hunt, Hilary Duff, Tom Welling, and Piper Perabo.

Retired CIA agent Bryan Mills has asked his teenage daughter Kim and his ex-wife Lenore to visit him in Istanbul. At the same time, Murad Krasniqi wants to avenge death of his son. Will Bryan and his family make it back home alive? Directed by Olivier Megaton, the film stars Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace, Famke Janssen, Rade Šerbedžija, Leland Orser, Jon Gries, D.B. Sweeney and Luke Grimes.

City of Dreams 

It’s father versus daughter as Ameya Rao Gaikwad goes head to head with his daughter, Poornima, who took everything away from him. Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, the series, running in its second season features Priya Bapat and Atul Kulkarni in lead roles.

Angrezi Medium

Champak, a simple mithai-seller, will go to any lengths to fulfil daughter Tarika’s dream of studying in London, triggering a chain of hilarious misadventures. The film stars Irrfan Khan, Radhika Madan, Deepak Dobriyal and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Kulfi Kumar Bajewala 

Blessed with a nightingale’s voice, cute Kulfi is a singing prodigy. After a tragedy strikes, she sets out on a new journey to find her estranged father. This show stars Aakriti Sharma, Mohit Malik, Anjali Dinesh Anand, Myra Singh, Shruti Sharma and Vishal Aditya Singh.

November Story 

A celebrated crime novelist suffering from Alzheimer’s is found at a murder scene with no memory of what happened. Now, it is up to his daughter to save him. This series stars Tamannaah in the lead role along with Pasupathy M., G. M. Kumar and Namita Krishnamurthy.

Father of the Bride

Lion King 

In the African savanna, a young prince overcomes betrayal and tragedy to assume his rightful place on Pride Rock. The Parent Trap 

Hallie and Annie are separated after their parents’ divorce. Years later, they meet at a summer camp and decide to switch places to reunite their parents. This movie stars Dennis Quaid, Natasha Richardson, and Lindsay Lohan.
