Many names have come up for the lead pair with regards to Farah Khan’s Satte Pe Satta remake. The latest one doing round was of Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan. Earlier this month it was reported that Hrithik was said to be roped in for Amitabh Bachchan’s role, while Deepika was zeroed on to essay dream girl Hema Malini’s part. But now we have another exclusive update.
As per our sources, not Deepika, but Bharat actress Katrina Kaif might be offered Hema Malini’s role in the Rohit Shetty film. If all goes well, this will be Rohit and Katrina’s second collaboration other than Sooryavanshi. While previous reports had stated that beyond the makers’ fondness, Deepika was also compared to Hema Malini in her debut film Om Shanti Om, so we don’t know why Katrina is being considered. But we aren’t complaining, because Kat and Hrithik made for quite an amazing on-screen pairing in Bang Bang.
