Ever since the trailer of Notebook was released, the makers are thrilled with the response that the new jodi has been getting. Set in the backdrop of Kashmir, the film marks the debut of Zaheer Iqbal and Pranutan Bahl, who is the daughter of actor Mohnish Bahl and the grand-daughter of late legendary actress Nutan. The trailer reveals that the film is about two strangers who fall in love with each other without even meeting once. The trailer was appreciated for the beautiful cinematography as well as the great chemistry between the child actors and the lead protagonists. The two newbies – Pranutan and Zaheer – are also earning praise and generating much interest among fans of the romantic genre.
Post the successful trailer launch, the team of Notebook has finally released the film’s first song. Titled Nai Lagda, Vishal Mishra and Akh Lad Jaave fame Asees Kaur have lent their voice to this symphony of love. And the song will definitely strike a chord in your heart. Penned down by Akshay Tripathi, the music has also been composed by the Selfish composer, Vishal Mishra. The song has a mellow tune to it and is doing full justice to the drama happening on the screen. Not just the tune, but the flute, the tabla beats and the soulful orchestra are adding that extra soulful flavour to the song. Zaheer and Pranutan’s characters are seen aching for each other’s presence and the background score is as impressive as the song. Nai Lagda is a number worth hearing and watching. So quickly check out the song right here:
Previously a song sung by Pakistani artist, Atif Aslam, was re-recorded after the Pulwama terrorist attack. Produced by Salma Khan, Murad Khetani, Ashwin Varde under the banner of Salman Khan Films and Cine1 Studios, the film is directed by Filmistaan fame director Nitin Kakkar. With the film all set to hit the theatres on March 29, you stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such fresh updates.
