On July 23, 49 celebrities wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemning the increase in mob lynching cases and how that is only harming the society. The 49 celebs included names like Konkana Sen Sharma, Shyam Benegal, Aparna Sen and more. Now as a reply to the letter 61 well known faces including  Parsoon Joshi, director Vivek Agnihotri and more have penned down an open letter which accuses the earlier 49 of tarnishing India’s international stand with their selective outrage. The letter accuses them of many things.
Last week Vivek Agnihotri had exclusively told CineBlitz how the 49 celebs are a part of the Urban Naxal Mafia and are selective in their approach. The letter following the same talks about how this group of people were silent during the many issues that the country has faced and how they have chosen this one to come into prominence. The 61 celebs in their reply open letter make their stand clear and announce their support to PM Modi and also that they believe in his government. Apart from Vivek, the letter is being backed by Madhur Bhandarkar and Akshok Pandit. Check out the letter below:
