PadMan producer Prernaa Arora’s fake identity exposed by police; report states she owes Rs 30 lakh in shopping bills for luxurious items

We were among the firsts to reveal how PadMan producer Prernaa Arora has been arrested by the Economic Offence’s Wing in December 2018. Prernaa was accused of duping filmmakers, investors, production houses and other people from the industry. In fact, she had failed to repay a lot of people and hence, the police took her into custody. Since then she has been embroiled in a legal battle. In fact, we hear she had even applied for a bail but it was rejected by the Session’s court. And a leading tabloid reveals some shocking reasons for this decision by the court. Not only has Prernaa Arora defaulted on payments and duped people, she has also lied about her identity.

Yes, according to the report, Prernaa Arora holds multiple passports and documents. But the shocking part is that her birth year is different in each one. While one has 1979 as her birth year, the others have 1983 and 1986. Shocking, isn’t it? But that’s not it. We already knew that popular financier, Vashu Bhagnani had slapped her with a legal notice. She had allegedly conned him of Rs 31.60 crore. There was another report that she had defrauded a director, whom she owed Rs 1.50 crore. But there’s more to this story!

The report in the tabloid further states that Prernaa Arora had blown away the huge amounts of money she took from various film financiers on herself. It seems she had bought a Rs 8 crore bungalow in Khandala last year. She even blew up in excess of Rs 3 crore while shopping in high end stores. From designers bags and shoes, she splurged money on expensive and luxurious brands. In fact, she owes some stores nearly Rs 30 lakh and they have also sent her notices.
