Parambrata Chatterjee to have a busy 2023

Actor turned director-producer Parambrata had a busy 2022 but aims to take things to the next level this year in 2023, as he starts his new year with a lot of work commitments, and he is also all set to announce two more projects in coming days. The multi-talented actor Parambrata Chatterjee seems to have been keeping busy throughout the year with a number of movies to his bucket list and become one of the busiest actors in 2022, shooting for several films, web series for different OTT platforms and directing and producing movies at the same time.

We thought the actor will seem a little free this year as he was working back-to-back schedules for his various projects in 2022.But the prolific actor-filmmaker Parambrata Chatterjee has a busy year ahead and is living every actor’s dream. Parambrata currently has some interesting line up of films in his kitty and year 2023, will be the busiest year for Parambrata Chatterjee.

This versatile actor has had his hands full with some interesting lineups and Param as an actor has played a wide range of roles in the past.And now he will soon be seen in various different avatars in upcoming films. Where few of his projects will be releases this month and more to come in the following months, from films & web series.

Recently Param completed the shooting of Kannada director Pawan Wadeyar’s first Hindi film ‘Notary’ with Geeta Basra. In this film Parambrata will be seen playing a lawyer who never lies even in the most hostile situations. Parambrata is currently shooting for a supernatural thriller called WALKER HOUSE, the film is directed by Ayush Raina. Apart from Param, it also has Tridha Chaudhury, Ragini Dwivedi and Sagar Arya in key roles.

Jehanabad: Parambrata will be playing Deepak Kanu, a very intriguing and charismatic character, borderline between good and evil. Jehanabad will be released on Sony liv this winter.

Mumbai Diaries season 2: The most important new inclusion in the second season, Parambarta will be playing as a doctor by profession in the 2nd season and will be released in summer on Amazon prime video.

Parambrata will also reunite with Abir Chatterjee for a rom com on marriage, being directed by Raja Chanda. His web series, the Arindam Sil-directed ‘Shabash Feluda’ will also start streaming in January.

Shabash Feluda is a contemporary adaptation of Satyajit Ray’s iconic detective. Feluda is the legendary, eponymous sleuth created by the maestro Satyajit Ray. Every Bengali teenager still grows up with these stories, Shabaash Feluda is also produced by Parambrata’s company Roadshow Films and Eskay movies, and it’s an eight-part series for ZEE5 Bangla.

‘Manobjamin’ co-starring Priyanka Sarkar and Paran Bandopadhyay is set to hit the big screens in January. The film, a rom com with a hidden message, marks the directorial debut of acclaimed poet Srijato. Meanwhile, Srijato has already announced his second film with Parambrata.

Talking about the wide range of characters he has portrayed, Parambrata said, “But then I also got characters like Abhijit Pakrashi (Baishey Shrabon), Angad Malik (Aranyak), and many others. In Jehanabad, I play a Bihari rebel. I will certainly give some credit to myself that people trusted me with such a variety of characters.”
