The World’s Largest Music League – Zee TV’s Indian Pro Music League paid a tribute to superstar Govinda by having a Govinda special episode. The actor and his family came together to shoot for the special episode and seemed to enjoy every bit of the same. For the uninitiated, the Indian Pro Music League has six teams representing different regions of the country supported by Bollywood biggies. Commenting on the occasion Govinda said , “After getting a heroic welcome from the team captains who sang my popular tracks, I was overwhelmed. The singers left no stone unturned to groove to the numbers.”
The actor was accompanied by wife Sunita Ahuja and daughter Tina Ahuja on the show, the trio set the stage on fire. Singer Purva Mantri matched Govinda’s colourful jacket with a similar one – typical Govinda style. Shaan and Akriti Kakkar from Govinda’s team didn’t miss the opportunity to shake leg with him. Mika crooning to Govinda’s numbers got everyone on stage. Neha Bhasin, Hosts Karan Wahi and Waluscha De Sousa also played an interesting game with the superstar and his wife. Govinda also left everyone impressed with his singing skills and his wife Sunita Ahuja couldn’t stop blushing. “Singing is in my blood as my mother was from the Patiala Gharana. I have always entertained people whether it is through my acting, music or dancing and will continue to do so” said Govinda as he concluded.
