Bollywood actress Krystle D’Souza and luxury influencer Sukhmani Gambhir walked the runway for designer Pooja Rajpal Jaggi at the Bombay Times Fashion Week 2024, presenting her debut collection “Ibtida”. The event began with Sukhmani Gambhir making an entrance on the runway, setting the tone for a night of sophistication and glamour, and actress Krystle D’Souza closed the show as the showstopper.
Pooja Rajpal Jaggi’s latest collection Ibtida, which means “new beginnings,” is a celebration of femininity, strength, grace, and individuality. The designs featured luxurious Banarasi fabrics, zardozi, sequins, and intricate threadwork, reflecting the designer’s commitment to designing for the modern woman.
Krystle D’Souza expressed her thoughts on walking for the collection, stating, “It’s always an honour to be part of something so beautiful. Ibtida speaks to every woman’s journey and embraces the power of new beginnings. Pooja’s collection is a masterpiece that balances tradition and modernity, and I feel privileged to have showcased her vision at Bombay Times Fashion Week.”
Designer Pooja Rajpal Jaggi shared her vision behind Ibtida, saying, “Fashion is not just about clothing; it’s about expression and empowerment. The collection speaks to the ageless, graceful and nonchalant woman who moves through life with a quiet yet powerful presence. Seeing Krystle and Sukhmani walk for this collection was a dream come true, as they effortlessly embody the essence of Ibtida.”
Pooja Rajpal Jaggi’s Ibtida collection stood out at the prestigious Bombay Times Fashion Week, offering a glimpse into the future of modern occasionwear and celebrating the timeless beauty of women.
