Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Thackeray is one of the most anticipated films of the year and after the trailer release, the hype around it is sky high. The real life story of one of India’s biggest leaders, Balasaheb Thackeray, is interesting enough to attract audiences. But wait, there’s more! The music album of Thackeray was launched a while back and it is good. Really good! Actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Amrita Rao and Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray were present at the song launch event, and they looked resplendent.
Nawazuddin looked dapper in a grey shirt and black jacket and black trousers. Amrita, on the other hand, looked gorgeous in a heavily embroidered skin-coloured ensemble. Uddhav Thackeray kept his look simple and clean as he paired a grey kurta with white pyjamas and kolhapuri chappals. The songs that they showcased were really beautiful and we are sure some of them will surely make it to your playlist. Anyway, check out all their pictures from the Thackeray song launch right here.
Talking about his role, Nawazuddin revealed at the event that he was nervous about playing Balasaheb Thackeray’s role, but got comfortable after a while, enough to ace the act, we think.
