PM Narendra Modi biopic is making the right kind of noise since its announcement. The story of a Prime Minister and his journey to the top is something we all are keen to see on the big screen. Vivek Anand Oberoi, who plays lead in the film, is also very passionate about this project and is putting his best foot forward. How are we so sure? Well, the makers have released yet another still from the film wherein Vivek is seen in not one but nine avatars. Yes, from a monk to a Punjabi man, the actor has donned different avatars and we cannot wait to see him on the big screen now.
Talking about the looks, they will depict the different phases, struggles, and the passion of this common man who eventually ends up becoming the Prime Minister of India. According to a source, “Highly dedicated actor Vivek Anand Oberoi gets up at 2.30 am in the morning each day, goes under the process of 7 to 8 hours makeup and is on the set by 8 am ready to shoot. Due to prosthetics, the actor can only consume liquids throughout the duration of the shoot (in a day).” The source even revealed that Vivek’s transformation was so astonishing that he behaved like the character even when the camera was not on.
Producer Sandip Ssingh, who is mighty impressed by Vivek, said, “I wanted a versatile actor to play this role, Vivek made an unconventional debut with Company and also gave Saathiya in the same year.” He added how he wanted the actor to give him one year of his life before the shoot begins to understand the journey and Vivek did a great job thoroughly. “Vivek gave 15 look tests that needed 7-8 hours of make up each day. When an actor shows this dedication for the film, the filmmaker and the whole crew is extremely enthusiastic and encouraged to make the film,” added the producer.
Directed by Omung Kumar, the PM Narendra Modi also features Manoj Joshi, Prashant Narayanan, Zarina Wahab, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, Anjan Shrivastav, Yatin Karyekar, Rajendra Gupta, Akshat R Saluja, Jimesh Patel and Darshan Kumaar in important roles. Co-produced by Suresh Oberoi, Anand Pandit, Sandeep Ssingh and Acharya Manish, the film will be releasing on April 12. Until then, stay tuned to CineBlitz for more such updates from the world of Bollywood.
