After receiving good responses for Jazz song “Tu Jaanta Nahi”, Pop singer Shivangi Sharma, best known for song Party Party with DJ Bravo and Same Old Lies reunites with renowned lyricist-composer Prashant Ingole, who has penned songs for movies such as Race 2, Bajirao Mastani, Mary Kom among others, for a music video titled “Beneath”. Touted to be a heart breaking song, it is set to release on November 20. Apart from composing, Ingole has also sung a rap in it.

Talking about the song Shivangi shares, “The song is a tale of two souls deeply enamored with one another, yet their profound love was tragically severed by a cruel twist of fate—a misunderstanding that prevented their paths from intertwining as destiny intended. It’s a stark contrast to the vibrant energy of ‘Tu Jaanta Nahi’. Yet, both songs share a common thread: the power of music to evoke emotions and connect with the audience. Beneath is a video song amd will show me in various looks. I’m eager to see how this heartfelt melody resonates with listeners, and I hope it receives the same warm reception as our previous collaboration.”

Sharing about how the whole idea shaped up, she continues, “When me and Prashant met, he proposed this song first and then Tu Jaanta Nahi happened later which is already out. He envisioned my voice infusing the song with a depth of emotion, a resonance that would stir the souls of its listeners. For me, it was an opportunity to pour my heart and soul into the performance, to convey the essence of heartbreak and longing through the power of my voice.”

Talking about from where he drew inspiration for Beneath, Prashant tells, “Love is the muse that ignited the flames of ‘BENEATH,’ a song that celebrates the magic of true love. The higher the flight of passion, the deeper the fall into the depths of heartbreak. This song is a testament to that very sentiment, inspired by my admiration for Eminem and Rihanna’s powerful duet ‘LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE’. It’s a tribute to these musical giants and a reflection on the complexities of love.”

He further adds, “Songs like these aren’t born from abstract ideas; they’re born from the observation of emotions that simmer around and within us. I’m drawn to writing about what resonates deeply within me, what I believe can touch the souls and hearts of others, including my own. This song is an ode to the universal experience of heartbreak, a melody for every passionate lover who has poured their soul into love and wept from the fragments of their shattered heart.”
