Preity G Zinta has been very busy, hopping from one city to another along with IPL team Kings XI Punjab. She was super happy after her team won against the Delhi Capitals on April 01. After the match in Chandigarh, the actress was supposed to fly back to Mumbai on April 02. However, she was reportedly denied boarding! Rumours suggest that former beau and GoAir owner, Ness Wadia ordered his staff not to let her board. This news went viral and people slammed the airline. However, GoAir has come out with their own side of the story. In a statement, the company wrote, “Sections of the media have reported malicious and factually incorrect story that is false, fabricated and without any basis stating that ‘Preity Zinta was stopped from boarding GoAir flight.'”
The airline further mentioned that it was not them, but Preity’s no show that was the reason for her not being on the flight. As it further stated, “GoAir strongly and completely denies any such action. Contrary to the reportage, all the facts-on-ground clearly show that Ms Preity Zinta had a smooth flight Mumbai to Chandigarh GoAir G8-381 on Saturday March 30, 2019. Further, on April 2, 2019 she also booked herself on a return flight G8 382 from Chandigarh to Mumbai but did not show up. This clearly demonstrates that sections of media have reported mischievously and without verifying the facts with GoAir.”
Preity G Zinta and Ness Wadia have been mum about the incident. The two former lovers were dating for several years, but called it quits in 2014. In fact, the actress had even lodged a complaint against Ness, for allegedly molesting her. However, after a lot of back and forth, the court told them to settle their issues personally. Preity moved on and got married to Gene Goodenough in 2016. In the meantime, share with us your thoughts about the whole incident in the comments section below!
