Producer Prernaa Arora who was allegedly arrested for fraud is currently imprisoned. And after these allegations looks like her work might severely get affected. Prernaa’s production house KriArj Entertainment has produced films like Pari, Rustom, Padman, etc in the past. While there were speculations that Prerna had acquired the rights of Raj Khosla directorial Wo Kaun Thi? looks like there is a new development on that front and it is not a very pleasant one.

With Prernaa acquiring the rights for this classic film, it was being said that even producer Bhushan Kumar would come on board for its remake. It was also being said that actresses Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Bipasha Basu would star in the film. However, everything is at a standstill now as NN Sippy’s son has issued a public notice against terminating his contract with KriArj Entertainment. As the film originally belongs to producer N N Sippy, his son Pravesh Sippy has sent out the public notice stating that their agreement has been null and void. He claims that Prernaa and her partner Mr Namit Kapoor have breached the various terms of the agreement. Now in the issued public notice, Pravesh has said that no one. Should entertain Prernaa or Namit in context to this film, and that the original rights still lie with him.

Wo Kaun Thi public notice

The original Bollywood thriller starring Sadhana, Manoj Kumar, Prem Chopra, Helen and K N Singh was based on black and white psychological mystery film. It has been a critically acclaimed film and has also won awards. Now that Prernaa is unavailable, we wonder if T-series will acquire the rights and make the film with the KriArj lady.
