prernaa arora criminal case fake identity exposed

Producer Prernaa Arora who was allegedly arrested for fraud is currently imprisoned. And after these allegations looks like her work might severely get affected. Prernaa’s production house KriArj Entertainment has produced films like Pari, Rustom, Padman, etc in the past. While there were speculations that Prerna had acquired the rights of Raj Khosla directorial Wo Kaun Thi? looks like there is a new development on that front and it is not a very pleasant one.

With Prernaa acquiring the rights for this classic film, it was being said that even producer Bhushan Kumar would come on board for its remake. It was also being said that actresses Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Bipasha Basu would star in the film. However, everything is at a standstill now as NN Sippy’s son has issued a public notice against terminating his contract with KriArj Entertainment. As the film originally belongs to producer N N Sippy, his son Pravesh Sippy has sent out the public notice stating that their agreement has been null and void. He claims that Prernaa and her partner Mr Namit Kapoor have breached the various terms of the agreement. Now in the issued public notice, Pravesh has said that no one. Should entertain Prernaa or Namit in context to this film, and that the original rights still lie with him.

Wo Kaun Thi public notice

The original Bollywood thriller starring Sadhana, Manoj Kumar, Prem Chopra, Helen and K N Singh was based on black and white psychological mystery film. It has been a critically acclaimed film and has also won awards. Now that Prernaa is unavailable, we wonder if T-series will acquire the rights and make the film with the KriArj lady. Cannes 2019 fever is on! And while we all are busy spotting our favourite celebs killing it on the red carpet, a very rationalist comment was made on Hina Khan’s appearance by a leading magazine’s editor. The editor posted a picture of the actress and said, “Cannes has suddenly become Chandivali studios kya?” This sure did not affect much as she immediately came up with a savage reply where she said, “I was persistent, I’m constant and I will be efficient again and again. Don’t know where I belong, don’t know if I have to, as the Place doesn’t define me! Because as always I will work my a** off and I will make my own PLACE. My promise, a proud outsider from my Chandivali studios.” But her friends from the industry decided not to end it at just that. Celebs like Farah Khan, Salman Khan, Arjun Bijlani, Nia Sharma came out in her support.

Where Salman Khan said, “I don’t know if the Editor wanted to say that #Cannes has become Chandivali or Chandivali has gone to #Cannes2019.” Farah Khan also appreciated the bold move that Hina took and praised her stand. Check out the tweets right here:

After the brouhaha, the editor finally took to social media and apologised, informing that his comment was drastically misconstrued. Hina accepted the apology and moved on to slay the Cannes world.

While this matter came to an end here, it raised many questions about Television star’s credibility. Hina Khan’s debut film Lines premiered at the Cannes Festival 2019 and if that is not a reason to celebrate then what is? Well, at least we are glad that the issue was resolved gracefully.
