Barfi

Every list of Priyanka’s iconic roles will and should begin by mentioning Barfi. Priyanka played the role of Jhilmil who suffered from Autism. Priyanka embodied Jhilmil to the fullest, and she was just perfect in this Anurag Basu film. While co-star Ranbir Kapoor was amazing, Priyanka as Jhilmil literally stole the show.

Mary Kom

After trying all genres, Priyanka was amongst the first few actors to do a biopic. And when she essayed the role of boxer Mary Kom, it was hard to say if they were two different people. From her acting to her transformation everything was quite applause worthy.

Bajirao Mastani

Imaging PeeCee playing a docile housewife, who would scarfice everything for her husband’s happiness, was difficult, but Priyanka proved us wrong. In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani, Priyanka played the supporting part of Kashibai, Peshwa Bajirao’s first wife and she stole the limelight. From her acting to her dialogue delivery, it only won our hearts.

Fashion

This Madhur Bhandarkar film got Priyanka Chopra her first national award, which itself proves how she aced her role. Her journey from an ambitious small town girl to a supermodel was truly glorious to witness on the big screen and we must say Fashion was the turning point in Priyanka’s career.

Saat Khoon Maaf

Though not a Box Office success, Saat Khoon Maaf saw PeeCee played seven different characters. Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, Priyanka was at her acting peak in Saat Khoon Maaf where she portrayed the character of a psycho woman, who mercilessly butchers her seven husbands.
