Priyanka Chopra will come back on the Hindi screen with Shonali Bose’s The Sky is Pink starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim
Priyanka Chopra Jonas made quite a charming impression with her performance in Hollywood rom-com Isn’t It Romantic? Most recently, the actor even made an appearance in husband Nick Jonas and his band Jonas Brother’s song Sucker. While her Hollywood features are a delight to watch, we all miss PeeCee on the Hindi screen. The only relief right now is that she is a part of Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink (working title) and we will soon get to see her on the big screen. You will be happy to know that the actor has started shooting for another schedule of the film and is surely having a fun time with the team. Her recent post on Instagram with her co-actors and director will surely brighten up the day of all PeeCee fans.
This morning (March 7), Priyanka shared a beach selfie with Farhan Akhtar, Zaira Wasim, Rohit Saraf and the director Shonali Bose and we have to say that she looked radiant. She captioned it as ‘Our sky is pink..’ Their sun-kissed faces and smiles assure that the team is having fun at the shoot. Soon after this, Farhan also reposted the picture and wrote, ‘Sun, surf, sand, selfie..’ and even went on to post an adorable boomerang on his story. Check out the posts here:
Backed by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, this Shonali Bose directorial went on floors in August last year (2018). It finally got its release date last month and is now hitting the theatres on October 11. The film is based on the life of a motivational speaker and we will see Farhan and Priyanka play the role of the parents in the film. The two share a great camaraderie as seen in Dil Dhadakne Do and we cannot wait to see them together again on the big screen.
