Priyanka Chopra – Nick Jonas joins the ranks of Jennifer Lopez, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper – here’s how

Our Desi Girl and Global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas is winning the world and how. The actress has been achieving new milestones every now and then. Today (April 11) the actress announced that she is the member of the Benefit Committee at this year’s Met Gala. Priyanka has been rocking the event with her appearances at the Met Gala since the last two years and this will be her third appearance. What’s more is that the actress is on the board this year.

While we all know Met Galas have been a high point in PeeCee’s life as there have been many highlight moments there. If you remember, she had made a statement with the most-talked about Ralph Lauren trench coat with 20 ft long trail, in her first appearance at the Met Ball. And also this is the very place that our Desi Girl found the love of her life and now husband Nick Jonas.

Now getting into the Benefit Committee comes as another special moment for her. Announcing the same on Instagram, the actress wrote, “From walking the prestigious carpet for the first time, to meeting my husband and many friends for life… Nick and I are honored to be on the Benefit Committee for this year’s Met Gala. Looking forward to the first Monday in May.” Priyanka put up a picture with this caption that include the members of the committee. The poster has many strong personalities like Katy Perry, Lena Waithe, Jennifer Lopez, and Alex Rodriguez. The committee also includes Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds, Chadwick Boseman and Lupita Nyong’o, Blake Lively.

Met Gala is a yearly event which takes place at the Metropolitian Museum of Art in New York on the first Monday in May every year. Many well known faces walk the red carpet bringing on their A game in fashion following a theme decided by the board every year. Bollywood star Deepika Padukone has also been attending the Met Gala as a guest since the last two years
