Producer Prerna Arora gets bail but can’t leave the jail premises – here’s why

Finally, there’s an update on the Prerna Arora controversy as today the producer got bail. Prerna, who runs KriArj entertainment, has been in the news since December last year when she was arrested by the Economic Offences Wing for fraud. The producer has more than one case against her. Below are all the details you should know about the same.

Prerna was arrested for criminal breach of trust last year when Vashu Bhagnani and Pooja Entertainment filed an FIR after KriArj Entertainment passed the rights of the film Kedarnath to Ronnie Screwvala. According to the complaint, Vashu and Pooja Entertainment had to suffer a loss of Rs 32 crore and so they filed the case.

Today, after applying for bail multiple times, Prerna finally managed to get bail. However, the news is that Prerna won’t be able to come out of jail. Other cases include company Padma Ispat accusing Prerna’s production house of fraud amounting to Rs 50 crore and Prerna being dragged to court by actor John Abraham’s JA Entertainment. We tried contacting Prerna’s sister but she was not available at the moment.
