Pulwama attack: Manoj Bajpayee offers condolences to the families of the martyred CRPF jawans

A lot of B-town stars took to social media and vented out their anger after hearing about the disturbing terrorist attack which took place in Pulwama on February 14. As per reports, a suicide-bomber belonging to the terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammed rammed an explosive-laden SUV into a bus carrying CRPF personnel. From Salman Khan to Kajol to Abhishek Bachchan, almost everyone from the film industry condemned the cowardly act that killed more than 40 CRPF soldiers in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. National awarding actor Manoj Bajpayee, who was attending the ActFest 2019, was also asked at the event about terrorist attack and he too expressed his grief and offered condolences.
Commenting on the tragic incident, Manoj said, “I am shocked and sad about the attack. My condolences to the families of the CRPF personnel who lost their lives.” Further, when the talented actor was asked what needs to be done to stop such attacks in the future, he said, “The power to take any decision and make any comment about the attack is with the government and not with me.” On other hand, Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar who were heading to Karachi for a 2-day event cancelled their trip in the wake of the Pulwama terror attack. Kangana Ranaut was also planning to celebrate the success of her film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi but the actress too cancelled her bash.
Well, coming back to Manoj Bajpayee, the 49-year-old will be next seen in Abhishek Chaubey’s Sonchiriya alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar. Recently, the Satya actor was even conferred with prestigious Padma Shri award for his immense contribution to Indian Cinema.
