After the deadly Pulwama attack, we revealed to you how the makers of Total Dhamaal have decided against releasing their film in Pakistan. The latest exclusive news that we brought to you was that Ajay Devgn was the decision maker in this development and it has left the exhibitors and distributors unhappy. But we have some more dope for you guys! Team Total Dhamaal is not the only one backing out of a Pakistani release. Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar’s Sonchiriya will also not have a Pakistan release. Talking to us exclusively, producer Ronnie Screwvala confirmed this news too!

We heard trade murmurs that after Total Dhamaal, Luka Chuppi and Sonchiriya will also follow suit. And that’s what has happened. As Ronnie revealed to us exclusively, “None of our films, including Sonchiriya, will be released in Pakistan.” And not only us, but the people across India are happy with this stand taken by Bollywood. Though there might be a loss in revenue, filmmakers feel that it is necessary to boycott Pakistan completely.
