Pulwama latest update: Ajay Devgn and team Total Dhamaal have decided not to release their film in Pakistan in support of the boycott movement started after 40 CRPF soldiers were killed in a suicide attack!

Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh’s Total Dhamaal is one of the most exciting films of the year. It is all set to release this Friday (February 22). The team has been going all out to promote their film and they have a huge release strategy. According to reports, it included a massive release in Pakistan too. However, post the deadly Pulwama attack, the latest news that we hear is that Total Dhamaal will not be released in Pakistan. In fact, Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh and the whole team has confirmed this too! After 40 plus CRPF soldiers were killed in a suicide attack by a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, team Total Dhamaal thought this would be a right movie.

The government of India has already started isolating Pakistan. The import duties have been raised to 200 per cent Export has been stopped as well, while other measures are being worked upon. In the meantime, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) have called upon a Pakistani artiste ban as well. In support of boycotting Pakistan, team Total Dhamaal decided to not release their film in Pakistan. Ajay Devgn confirmed this too. As he tweeted, “In light of the current situation the team of Total Dhamaal has decided to not release the film in Pakistan.”
