Producer Dinesh Vijan has announced his next, titled Shiddat – Journey beyond love. The film will star Vicky Kaushal’s younger brother Sunny Kaushal, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina and Diana Penty in major roles.
After producing films like Hindi Medium, Stree and Luka Chuppi, producer Dinesh Vijan is backing Shiddat and the film will be directed by Kunal Deshmukh. Shiddat is a story about love and the distance one can travel for it, say makers. The film will be tracing the journey of two couples. The film will go on floors in September and will be shot across Punjab, Paris and London. Talking about the same Dinesh said, “Well I got married recently, so I’m feeling it! But on a serious note in our day and age where love is taken so lightly, it’s difficult to imagine the lengths people would go to for it. Shiddat is not only a story about love but the distance one travels for it. The passion that overcomes maybe all senses or logic to do things that you wouldn’t usually imagine, the belief in something with all your heart and the drive to achieve it – that’s Shiddat.”
As of now, the film is tentatively slated to release in Summer 2020. For more updates and gossip about Bollywood, stay tuned to CineBlitz.
