Rajkummar Rao – Sushant Singh Rajput to have a mega clash

Everyone is looking forward to Rajkummar Rao’s Made In China and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Chhichhore. The two films have been in the news ever since they were announced last year. While Made In China co-stars Mouni Roy and Boman Irani, Sushant, on the other hand, will be seen sharing screen space with Shraddha Kapoor, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin and few others in his rom-com Chhichhore. Though both the films look promising, they are set to clash with each other at the box office and that’s not good news for both the parties.

Made In China, which is directed by Mikhil Musale, is a comedy and Chhichhore, helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, is a romantic comedy-drama. Since both the films are pretty much from the same genre, their box office clash will indeed be intense. Also, when two films arrive on the same day, not only the screens but also the audience gets divided, affecting the box office business. Also, this clash is little more interesting because it’s not the first time that Dinesh Vijan’s production venture is clashing with Sushant’s film. Last month, Vijan’s Luka Chuppi took on Sushant’s Sonchiriya at the box office and the latter failed to race ahead at the ticket windows. So will history repeat itself? Only time will tell.

For now, the two films look well placed as both Rajkummar and Sushant are terrific actors. While the former is known for his bang on comic timing, the latter is also known for his versatility and hence this clash would be worth watching.
