While there’s no confirmation about a 2019 wedding, what we do know is that there’s already much excitement back home to see them paired on screen for the first time in Karan Johar’s Ayan Mukerji-directed Brahmastra that also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Akkineni Nagarjuna and Divyendu Sharma. The first of the trilogy is expected to hit theatres on December 20.
The Kapoors are currently in New York as Rishi is undergoing treatment for an as-yet-undisclosed-disease. Neetu’s recent post on Instagram hinted at it being cancer. Randhir Kapoor also revealed that Rishi is responding well to the treatment and will be home soon. Meanwhile the young lovebirds Alia-Ranbir landed back in Mumbai, refreshed after their New Year’s vacation in the US.
