Ranveer has begun his on field practise for the biopic 83, which is supposed to release in April next year. In the pictures, we can see Ranveer coming out on the field. Also present is the director of the film Kabir Khan, and he and his lead actor seem to be having fun in the process. The anyway cricket crazy Ranveer has been saying on record that preparing for 83 is the biggest challenge he has accepted, and that he is very keen to get the unique style that Kapil Dev played with, and is till date known for. Despite his enthusiasm, it is not an easy task and it looks like Ranveer will have to prep really hard to get the iconic Kapil Dev bowling style, which might take him many net practises, but he is totally game for it. As per the info given out, the film also stars Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub in a pivotal role. He was last seen playing a supporting part in Anand.L Rai’s Zero.

We last saw Ranveer in Simmba, and he has a release in February as well. He will be seen in Zoya Akhtar’s directorial Gully Boy. Ranveer with his talent and hard work is racking up success in Bollywood, and the forthcoming line-up he has is exciting as well. We wish Ranveer all the best for 83 and we are looking forward to an exciting package. As exciting as when Kapil Dev’s game in 1983 was. Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is all set to clash with Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Thackeray at the domestic box office. Both the films are set to release on January 25 and looks like the battle is intensifying. We had revealed to you how the Shiv Sena and the makers of Thackeray were pressurising the Manikarnika team to postpone their film. However, Kangana and team didn’t budge. But now it’s look like the two sides have locked horns again, this time for sharing the numbers of screens. And as always, we have all the exclusive details for you!

Our insider exclusively reveals, “The screen sharing has not been agreed yet. The Shiv Sena and makers of Thackeray are keen on getting a bigger pie of screens and have demanded that all the single screens be given to them. The Manikarnika team, on the other hand, has demanded a sensible 50 – 50 sharing. But they are being pressurised to give away their share of single screens, though they aren’t budging.” Clearly, the battle is intensifying and how! One day before before Balasaheb Thackeray’s birth anniversary (January 23), the advance bookings haven’t opened in most of the cinemas. We wonder if a common ground will be reached soon or not?

Both Thackeray and Manikarnika are biopics of legendary leaders. Two talented actors, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kangana Ranaut respectively, star in them. We just hope that they can see eye to eye and agree on terms that work out for both the movies. Hopefully both the films will do well at the box office too, especially with it being the Republic Day weekend. Anyway, what do you have to say about this development? Share with us your thoughts in the comments section below! Also stay tuned to Cine Blitz as we get you all the updates about Thackeray and Manikarnika right here.

Sushant Singh Rajput turned a year older on January 21. But unlike his Bollywood contemporaries, the actor chose to have a low-key affair minus the birthday shenanigans. But making his birthday special was a surprise visit by his Kedarnath co-star Sara Ali Khan who dropped by the actor’s home on his birthday eve. This naturally set the tongues wagging and speculations of the two being the newest couple started doing rounds in hushed whispers. So, naturally it came as a bigger surprise when the next evening it was Sushant’s rumoured ex-girlfriend Kriti Sanon who dropped by to wish her Raabta co-star.

But while the buzz of who is Sushant really dating is on the rise, let’s clear the air here. Well, looks like there’s no love triangle here at all. An insider reveals that Sara and Sushant share a great camaraderie and Sara had dropped by strictly as a friend. “The two get along really well. They were a riot together even on the sets and really bonded well as friends. So there’s no third angle here.” Well while this may disappoint many, the good news is that Kriti and Sushant may be looking at reigniting their rumoured relationship. Check out Kriti Sanon leaving from Sushant Singh Rajput’s party:

It may be recalled that Kriti and Sushant had become the talk of the town as the new couple while shooting for Raabta (2012). The two did not confirm or deny their relationship status even then. But it was easy for anyone to guess what the truth was. However reports of the two having split surfaced last year. So, when Kriti made a late night visit to wish Sushant on his birthday, the fans of the couple have their hopes up who wish to see them together more off screen than on it. The actress was all smiles as she left Sushant’s building and we can only hope for the best. Well, whether the couple is back together or not, it’s great to see that things seem well between the two.
