Rhea Chakraborty fears for her life. The actress who has been sent to Byculla jail after the NDPS court rejected her bail plea has now moved a fresh application in the Sessions court seeking bail that she has not committed any crime and that staying in jail is a threat to her life.

The actress has already filed a complaint with Mumbai police after she received rape and death threats on social media.
In a bail plea submitted by her advocate, Satish Maneshinde the actress has said that she was interrogated only by male officers and no woman officer was present in the room during her questioning.
The plea stated that during her custody Rhea was coerced into making self-incriminating confessions. Through an application made on Tuesday, the actress has retracted all incriminating confessions.
The plea said there is nothing on record to suggest that Rhea was in any way connected with the production, manufacture, possession, sale, purchase, transport, import, export or use of any cannabis, ganja or marijuana. The plea also refuted that she was involved in ganja or marijuana. The plea also refuted that she was involved in financing, illicit trafficking, or harbouring of offenders in relation to any narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances.
“Given that no drugs or psychotropic substances have been seized from her and the allegations if any would pertain strictly to small quantities the offence if any and that is bailable,” the plea said.
