Sushant Singh Rajput is all set to star as an army man in his next film. On the occasion of Army Day (January 15), the actor announced his next film titled Rifleman. Sushant took to Twitter to announce the project today and shared a video announcement saying, “Sushant Singh Rajput in and as RIFLEMAN.” He captioned this video: “An advancing enemy. A border to protect. 1 Braveheart. #RIFLEMAN on the occasion of Army Day, excited to announce my next film @adgpi Produced by @abundantia_ent & @poojafilms.”
The tweet indicates that the film is based on the Indian Army and is full of action. It is produced by Abundantia and Pooja Entertainment. Pooja Entertainment’s last film was Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, which was a success at the box office and was also loved by the audiences. Considering their past work the expectations from Rifleman are quite high and looking at Sushant’s graph we expect him to play the character with finese. But we do wonder who this Rifleman is and whether if this one will be a biopic. The announcement couldn’t have been made on a better occasion than the Army Day and the film is slated to release later in this year.
An advancing enemy.
