The last phase of the Lok Sabha Election 2019 is due and the blame-game in politics seems to be never-ending. In recent events, we saw Union Minister Piyush Goyal accuse former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh of only being concerned about his son Riteish Deshmukh’s acting career even when the city was under attack during the deadly 26/11 terrorist attacks. Now, Riteish has replied to the Union Minister on a social media platform and here is what he said.
It is a known-fact that Riteish Deshmukh is the son of former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, the Late Vilasrao Deshmukh. Recently, Piyush Goyal accused the late politician of not giving attention to his responsibilities and also claimed that the actor with his father was present at the Taj Hotel post the terrorist attacks.
Riteish took to his Twitter handle to issue an official statement as an answer to the accusations that have come his way. The actor in his statement made things clear and also pointed out how wrong it is to accuse a person who is not here to defend himself. Below is the complete statement:
