Roar of the Lion: Ayushmann Khurrana, Chennai Super Kings team cheer for MS Dhoni’s docu-drama

Streaming service Hotsar is back with another original docu-series called- Roar of the Lion. It is helmed by ace director Kabir Khan The docu-series is based on Mahendra Singh Dhoni aka MS Dhoni who led the Chennai Super Kings to victory in the Indian Premier League(IPL) last year. The IPL franchisee was going through a turbulent period after getting banned for 2 years for Match-fixing. Director Kabir Khan said he aims to bring out the emotional journey, which the mainstream narrative missed out.

Roar of the Lion recently dropped its trailer and it was extremely well received by the general public and celebrities. The docu-series is scheduled to drop all its episode on March 20. Roar of the Lion is a story of how a bunch of men in yellow jerseys wrote one of India’s greatest comeback stories under the leadership of M.S.Dhoni.  The series follows the human emotions of not only the members of team CSK, but also of their beloved fans, during the days that led to the CSK ban and the 2 years that followed.
