Rohit Shetty ropes in the ‘Mother of all Entertainers’ Farah Khan for an action comedy – details inside

After directing and producing hits like Golmaal, Singham and Simmba, Rohit Shetty has undoubtedly become a super hit property. The hit-maker has been directing all his films till date, but looks like he is starting a new journey. The filmmaker is now roping in directors for his movies. Rohit and his team have several stories to tell, but he can’t work on simultaneous projects and so he is working on a few, while roping in other directors for his other movies. And the first of these kinds is with Farah Khan! Yes, Rohit has roped in Farah for an action comedy and we are quite eager to hear more about this one.

All the details of the movie are being kept under wraps. But we know that Farah will direct this Rohit Shetty Picturez production. It will be presented by Reliance Entertainment. The ‘baap of action’ Rohit has got the ‘mother of all entertainers’ Farah to direct the film written by him and his team. It’s a really cool script and will feature a couple of leading stars! And the choreographer-turned-director is very excited as well as emotional about it. As she shared, “When the Universe conspires to give u what you couldn’t even imagine. Farah’s last directorial – Happy New Year performed decently at the box office. Rohit Shetty’s Simmba, on the other hand, rocked the ticket window. He is currently completing the pre-production work for Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi, while Farah will kickstart this project soon.
