The much-awaited spy thriller, Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW) which is based on a true event, is just a day away from the release. John Abraham, who plays the lead in the film, left no stone unturned to make the film look as authentic as possible. And guess what, all his efforts have paid off. We say so because B-town celebs are going gaga on social media over the espionage thriller which also features Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff and Sikander Kher in significant roles. Apart from John, director Robby Grewal is also being praised for his work.

John’s Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal co-star Arshad Warsi was all praises for the B-town hunk as he wrote on Twitter, “Saw #RAW last night @TheJohnAbraham has portrayed a very complexed character with ease & subtlety. @sikandarkher was bang on, @bindasbhidu surprised me, he was brilliant. RAW is an intense film with a very smart screenplay, loved all the twists & reveals.” Harshvardhan Rane, who was last seen in Paltan, also lauded the film on social media and said it was brilliantly shot. For those unaware, Romeo Akbar Walter is set against the backdrop of India -Pakistan War of 1971. John is essaying the role of an undercover RAW agent in the film.
