RRR: Alia Bhatt makes a surprising revelation about her character

Professionally, Alia Bhatt is on the right track and it looks like there is no stopping her. She has been giving back-to-back hits and her latest offering Kalank, which is all set to hit the theatres on April 17, also looks really promising. But there is more on her plate already. She has signed three projects – Brahmastra, Takth and Sadak 2. Apart from that, she will be debuting in the Telugu cinema with SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited film RRR. On being asked about her venture, the Kalank actor got really excited and gave us a few details about her role.

Firstly, she is taking lessons to learn the Telugu language for the film. Her character is named Seeta and because the film is based on the life of freedom fighters, her role will be a mix of both – a real-life freedom fighter and a fictional character. She even added that learning Telugu was easier than learning Kathak for Kalank. She said,” Definitely learning Kathak! I mean the Telugu lessons are hard but I am picking up much faster than I thought I would. Kathak eventually is about the body and it was very hard.” Well, we are sure that the fans are excited to see her South debut now.

Talking about Kalank, it also stars Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Madhuri Dixit Nene and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. Abhishek Varman has directed the magnum opus and is all set to introduce it to the audience on April 17. Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, which stars Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan, will also release this year during Christmas.
