RRR: SS Rajamouli’s directorial whopped in THIS amount for overseas theatrical rights

SS Rajamouli created history with the release of his film Baahubali. The film went on to become one of the biggest earning films and people were looking forward to his next film. He then announced the movie RRR staring Junior NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt and has reportedly sold its overseas theatrical rights for a bigger price than that of the Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Now going by the buzz, several international distribution houses were wanting to acquire the overseas theatrical rights of RRR but a company named Phars Films locked the deal for Rs 70 crores. Yes, the movie has shattered the record of Baahubali 2 (64 crores). The company apparently was impressed by one of the action sequences from the film and that is when they decided to invest in this movie.
