This year has been a great year so far for Bollywood, thanks to some good content. Today, the makers of Saand Ki Aankh released the film’s first poster, revealing its Diwali release. And guess what? There is going to be a clash.
Anurag Kashyap-produced Saand Ki Aankh will see a Diwali release and the film will be clashing with Farhad Samji’s directorial venture Housefull 4. The two films, although releasing at the same time this year, are complete opposites as far as content is concerned. One is a biopic while the other is the fourth installment in the hit comedy franchise Housefull. Saand Ki Aankh is directed by Tushar Hiranandani and stars Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar in lead roles. The film is based on the world’s oldest sharpshooters, Prakashi and Chandro Tomar. Housefull 4 produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, on the other hand, is the fourth installment in the hit comedy series, Housefull. Housefull 4 stars Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Riteish Deshmukh and Kriti Kharbanda.
Both films are currently in the making. Stills from their sets make the rounds on the Internet every other day. Anyway, let’s wait and see what both the films offer and which one turns out victorious. The last clash we saw this year was between Akshay Kumar’s Kesari and Abhimanyu Dassani’s Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota.
