The long wait is finally over! The makers of Sacred Games are finally taking ahead Gaitonde and Sartaj Singh’s story with season 2. After teasing the fans with glimpses of the show, the Sacred Games team has finally dropped the trailer today (July 9). It is intriguing enough to keep you excited, but that’s not it! The team has also revealed the answer to the much-awaited question about its release date. Yes, Sacred Games season 2 finally has a release date. And the answer to ‘Pachchis dino mein kya hoga’ is just around the corner.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui – Saif Ali Khan’s Sacred Games season 2 will start streaming on Netflix from August 15. The trailer gave us a sneak peek of the story and we are as excited as you are to know what will happen next. This season introduces Batya Abelman (Kalki Koechlin) and Shahid Khan (Ranvir Shorey) as well.

Vikramaditya Motwane, who turns showrunner with the second season, shares his thoughts before the release of the show, “We’re extremely excited to finally be able to share with the fans of Sacred Games what they’ve all been waiting for with bated breath – the date of its release on Netflix! This season is bigger, more compelling, and totally unexpected. Be prepared to discover a different side to each character as we take the audience on a tremendous journey, and address questions left unanswered last season.”
The series is directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan and has been adapted from Vikram Chandra’s book of the same name. Writers Varun Grover, Smita Singh and Vasant Nath have adapted the book for Sacred Games. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more news and updates.
