Hasti DoshiWe clearly remember Sandeepa Dhar from her debut film Isi Life Mein which was a Rajshree Production film. While the romantic drama wasn’t a big box office success, the beautiful actress got noticed and went on to do a few more films. In fact, she even played a cameo in Salman Khan’s blockbuster film Dabangg 2 and was also seen in Tiger Shroff’s debut film Heropanti. She is also a part of the web show called Flip which is currently streaming online. Recently, while talking about the show, she also spoke about her other projects which are in the pipeline. But the one film that she is most excited about is Kaagaz which is produced under Salman Khan’s home banner.
Sandeepa will be seen doing an item number in the film Kaagaz. However, the actress confessed that it wasn’t easy for her to do the dance number but she enjoyed the process nonetheless. Talking about the item number, Dhar said, “It’s a huge song for me, I have never done it before. It has a rusty look to it like a Beedi Jalaile sort of item number. But I am a jazz contemporary dancer so it was not my zone, it felt like a challenge.” She further added, “I learned the dance in a day and that was the only time given to us which was so less but I had to prove myself and I worked hard on it.”
Ahmed Khan has choreographed the song and we certainly can’t wait for Sandeepa to show off her moves on the big screen. Coming back to her web series, Dhar plays a young character as well as an elderly one in the show which seems thrilling. The series Flip is written and directed by Bejoy Nambiar and is currently streaming on Eros Now. Anyway, let us know in the comments section below how excited you are for Sandeepa’s item number.
