Salman Khan made his smashing debut as a lead with Sooraj Barjatya’s Maine Pyar Kiya. Since then there’s been no looking back! A superstar was born and he went on to deliver several massive hits at the box office, in a career spanning three decades. Sooraj and Salman collaborated a number of times during this, most recently in 2015 for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Their jodi is fantastic, with them giving hits after hits. However, it is not just their box office success, but the bond they share that makes them come back together for more movies. And looks like that’s happening once again! Yes, that’s right! Salman and Sooraj are all set to collaborate for a film and the superstar has booked his dates in 2020 for it already.

As a source revealed to us exclusively, “Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya had a conversation about a film recently. Sooraj explained him the basic premise and Salman loved it. He instantly said yes and has come on board for the movie, even though the script isn’t even ready. Salman loves Sooraj, so if he asks him to do a film, Salman will never say no. In fact, he has already blocked 2020 for the movie and they should start shooting as soon as Barjatya finishes the script.”

Currently, the filmmakers is busy with his son – Avnish’s directorial debut. Once he is done mentoring him, Sooraj will start working on the script, mostly by March or April this year. However, while several speculations are doing the rounds about him playing his iconic character of ‘Prem’ once again, we can only say that nothing is fixed yet. As the source added, “Sooraj has not fixed the characters or their names yet. He has just thought of the basic premise and how the story will flow. The characters and everything else will be finalised when he writes the script.” With the film set to roll in 2020, share with us your thoughts in the comments section below!
