Salman Khan on Sunday (March 24) attended the Saudi Film Festival where he was invited as a special chief guest. And of what we hear, the star hailed as the Sultan of Bollywood, got the warmest response. The star was in Saudi Arabia to attend the film festival, which was a part of the Sharqiah Season in Dhahran. Salman even gave a talk at the festival in a special segment called ‘An Evening With the Stars.’ The actor’s fans were overjoyed and beyond excited and the tickets to see Salman Khan live, were sold off within minutes. The craze for Salman Khan in the Middle East belt is humongous. And it was no surprise to see the immense crowd that turned up to see their favourite Bollywood star, with shouts of ‘Sallu Bhai’ reverberating on his arrival.
Oscar-winning Hollywood actor Cuba Gooding Jr. is also expected to join in the celebrations today. These events are being held to promote and encourage arts and culture in the Kingdom. They are being organised by the Saudi Arabian Society for Culture and Arts along with the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture. In his special segment, Salman Khan spoke about his journey as a Bollywood actor and enthralled the audience with some amazing anecdotes. A video of the supertstar announcing his arrival in Saudi Arabia is also making the rounds. In the video, we see Salman Khan wishing everyone in Saudi Arabia. He says, “Hello Saudi Arabia, Assalamwalaikum. See you at Ithra on the 24th of March, InshaAllah.” Check out the tweet video right here!

Meanwhile, back home post his return, Bharat star Salman Khan will start prep for Dabangg 3 that goes on the floors from April 1, as we had exclusively told you earlier. The first schedule of the Prabhudeva-directed Dabangg 3 will kickstart in Indore (Madhya Pradesh), which also happens to be Salman’s native place. The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha.
