Samantha Akkineni joins Rakul Preet Singh in Portugal for Manmadhudu 2

Samantha Akkineni recently took to her Instagram story to announce that she would be joining the cast of the upcoming Telugu film Manmadhudu 2, the sequel to the critically-acclaimed 2002 film of the same name. On the casting, she reportedly said, “I play a very interesting extended cameo in Manmadhudu 2.” She will be starring alongside De De Pyaar De’s Rakul Preet Singh and the film’s producer is none other than her father-in-law, and producer of her first film too, Nagarjuna Akkineni. Rahul Ravindran is directing the film.

Her last film Majili too was a critical and box-office success, garnering her lot of attention and praise. Her upcoming projects include Oh Baby! Yentha Sakkagunnave directed by BV Nandini Reddy and another untitled project. The shooting for Manmadhudu 2 took place in Portugal and other details such as its release date are yet to be announced.
