And now, the auteur is all set to treat us to yet another heartfelt saga with Gangubai Kathiawadi. Starring Alia Bhatt who plays the titular character, the film chronicles the life and the times of Gangubai, a powerful woman who shattered the glass ceiling and emerged as a ‘Mafia Queen’. The Mumbai schedule of the film is currently underway in full swing.
Ever since the announcement, there has been a whole lot of excitement and intrigue surrounding the film. Needless to say, fans are awaiting the first collaboration between the filmmaker and the actor with bated breath.
