Sara Ali Khan ousts Ananya Panday from the sequel to Bhool Bhulaiyaa?

Has Sara Ali Khan been finalised for the sequel of Bhool Bhulaiyaa? The buzz is that the makers of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 have zeroed in on the leading lady opposite main lead Kartik Aaryan – and it is none other than Sara Ali Khan.

It may be recalled that Ananya Panday who is opposite Kartik Aryan in Pati Patni Aur Woh and Kartik’s Dostana 2 co-star Janhvi Kapoor were also shortlisted for the role. Guess looking at the kind of popularity Sara and Kartik have off-screen, the producers have decided to go with Sara Ali Khan.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the horror comedy will also see Akshay Kumar making a guest appearance in the sequel. The original Bhool Bhulaiyaa was one of Akshay Kumar’s biggest hits of 2007, and was directed by Priyadarshan. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more exclusive news, updates and gossip.
