Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu’s Badla was one of those intriguing releases that we all loved. However, apart from the titular roles, there was another powerhouse performer in this Shah Rukh Khan production. Yes, we are talking about Amrita Singh. The veteran star has been taking up only selected films over the past few decades and Badla was one of them. And we have to say she was the surprise package. She pulled off her part very well and was a breath of fresh air in the movie. But did you know she was in two minds about the movie? And it was Sara Ali Khan who pushed mommy Amrita Singh to sign Badla?

Yes, we aren’t kidding. As a source reveals to us exclusively, “Amrita was very skeptical about taking up Badla. She was in two minds and took a while before saying yes. While she was confused, her daughter Sara Ali Khan pushed her to do the film. She felt it would be a great movie and Amrita would be apt for the part. After Sara’s convincing, Amrita took up the part.” Well, we guess we have to thank Sara for this then, because Amrita was simply fab in Badla.
