To do full justice to his character, every actor tries his best, studies and that’s what makes the role shine. Similar attempts have been made by Saili Sanjeev and Suvrat Joshi. Directed by Shantanu Rode, Goshta Eka Paithnichi has Saili Sanjeev playing the role of a seamstress and Suvrat Joshi playing the role of a florist. Even though these roles look simple and easy, both of them have studied for this. Which makes these characters look very similar to these characters. Sally likes to fit into any role she plays. So Suvrat also feels it is important to study the role.

Sayli says about this, “In this film, I am a simple housewife who does fall bidding on the sarees of the surrounding women, sews blouses. This role could definitely have been realized with the strength of acting. But to naturalize it, to blend in with the role, I took a two-day sewing class. In ‘Goshta Eka Paithnichi’ I am working on a very old machine. So I needed to know how to operate a sewing machine, thread a needle, apply oil, everything. I really wanted my acting to not look unnatural anywhere. That’s why I started this class without letting anyone know. Which allowed me to learn the finer points of sewing. Which benefited me in ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’. Basically, while playing any role, if you put your heart into it, its positive results will be seen.”

While Suvrat Joshi says, “I am playing the role of a florist. Although these roles are seemingly easy to perform, they require observation. The bells, the way of weaving necklaces, the movements of the hands, all these things had to be assimilated. That is why I used to stand beside the florists for hours and observe them. So that there should be ease in portraying that character.
