Shah Rukh Khan spends quality time with acid attack survivors and it’s the sweetest thing that you’ll see

Deepika Padukone took everyone by surprise when she revealed her first look from the film Chhapaak. The audience fell in love with her even more after knowing that the film will be based on the story of acid attack survivors and Deepika is putting her best foot front to make the film authentic. But it is not just her who is taking this initiative. Deepika’s Om Shanti Om co-star Shah Rukh Khan is also a part of this amazing bandwagon. SRK, who has always been associated with noble causes met some acid attack survivors and spend some quality time with them. The experience was overwhelming for him and it lead the superstar to put up a heartfelt message for them.

For the uninitiated, the Zero actor runs an organization called Meer Foundation that helps disadvantaged women find economic and social recognition. The team at Meer Foundation works for such women, mainly acid attack survivor and is associated with many NGOs, hospitals and government to make this world a better place for them. King Khan also puts in his maximum efforts and took out time to meet the ladies to support them. This left him gratified as the actor summed up his meeting by saying, “All of u please put ur hands in prayer…and say Bhagwan inki zindagi ki nayi shuruaat mein…inpar karam karna…May God have mercy on them…Insha Allah. These r my sisters & need ur prayers for recovery, without distinguishing between the mode of prayer,” in his tweet. Check it out right here:

Shah Rukh has even won a Crystal Award by the World Economic Forum and a special award from UNESCO in 2017 for the work that he has done with these women. Apart from this, Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy with IPL (Indian Premier League). His team has played two matches and won both so far.
