So you will have to go through some grinding to prove yourself if you are representing this city in TATA IPL. The players who sport Mumbai Indians’ jerseys also understand this because they know that they are representing some very special people. That is the spirit of this city and of this team as well. I am proud to be a Mumbaikar and I say that with conviction that Mumbai Indians are not going to give up easily.”

Shahid said on Cricket Live on Star Sports, “My upcoming film is all about second chances. The message this movie gives is that if you fail once in life, it doesn’t matter, life gives you second chances and you need to grab them. Mumbai Indians are exactly on the same boat. This team didn’t play well in the first phase but we believe they will not give up. This team has done it before and if it has done it before then nothing can stop them from repeating it.”
