Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh runs into major trouble with doctors – here’s why

Even though Shahid Kapoor’s Kabir Singh is doing great business at the box office, not everyone is appreciating the story. Yes, many have praised Shahid’s performance in the film, but many have also called the film misogynistic. Despite all of this it wouldn’t be late for us to see the Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani starrer hitting the 100 crores mark. But now the film’s smooth run seems to have hit a roadblock.  Yes, Sandeep Reddy Vanga directed Kabir Singh seems to have upset the doctors.

In the film, Shahid is a doctor who falls in love with Kiara. In the film, Shahid’s character is an alcoholic doctor who falls in love with the medical student (Kiara) and later even gets obsessive and possessive about her turning violent at times. This portrayal has upset some doctors who say that doctors are shown in a bad light through this film. As per reports, a doctor from Mumbai has filed a police complaint against makers. It is also said that the Police have also written a letter to the central Health Minister, Information and Broadcasting Ministry, State Health Ministry, and the Censor Board of Film Certification to stop the screening of Kabir Singh.
