Shocking! Avengers: Endgame unprecedented craze makes theatres run post-midnight shows

It’s been well established at this point that the release of the final instalment of the Avengers franchise has caused quite the social media stir and frenzy since Sunday for opening show tickets. To be fair, nearly every Marvel movie release has had this exact type of reception from fans. But Avengers: Endgame seems to have reached levels of sheer insanity as pre-sales have gone through the roof with many multiplexes including a post-midnight show!

This has been the first time in India that a Hollywood film has gotten a show post 12 am due to high public demand. Some have drawn parallels to the craze that Amitabh Bachchan and Jeetendra films created back in the 70’s and 80’s.
