Shraddha Kapoor fulfils the wish of a 13-year-old girl fighting for her life

Shraddha Kapoor in a great gesture fulfilled the wish of her teenage fan who is suffering from tuberculosis. With her social media post she has won our hearts. Read on to know the complete story.

13-year-old Summaya Shaikh, a resident of Santacruz in Mumbai is fighting for her life. She is undergoing treatment for tuberculosis at the government-run KEM hospital since the last four months. Her condition is serious with many complications amidst which she expressed a wish to meet her favourite actor, Shraddha Kapoor. When the hospital authorities came to know Summaya’s wish, they tweeted about it and tagged the actress on January 25. Shraddha immediately replied,“I want to meet her please. Let me know how I can.” And turns out yesterday Shraddha paid a visit to meet Summaya, fulfilling the young fan’s wish. The actor through an Instagram post put up a picture of Summaya and her together. The caption with the picture read, “I’m so so happy that I was able to go & meet Summaya today. She’s such a precious little angel. Praying for her recovery. @kettoindia please let me know how I can help with her treatment & all the best with all the work you guys are doing.” Talking about Summaya’s disease, it has affected her liver in a severe way and the liver needs a transplant. With Shraddha meeting her maybe she would have felt a little better in her battle.

Summaya is being treated for third-stage tuberculosis and her further treatments are very costly. The family is trying hard to arrange funds and in this situation Shraddha coming forward to help will be a big ray of hope for them. We pray that Summaya recovers and we are proud of Shraddha Kapoor for taking a step and going out of her way to help out the young fan.
