Sidharth Roy Kapur’s Netflix original Yeh Ballet will be a refreshing watch – here’s how!

Netflix has become a very popular digital entertainment platform amongst the Indian audience. Previously, we got to see web shows and films like Sacred Games and Lust Stories on this platform and now it’s just going to get better. The Netflix team has announced its collaboration with Indian filmmakers and top personalities including Sidharth Roy Kapur, Sooni Taraporevala, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee, and Anurag Kashyap. So get ready to witness some spine-chilling tales on this OTT platform in the coming days. In fact, one very interesting flick that will be featured on Netflix will be Sooni’s Yeh Ballet. The film is produced by Sidharth Roy Kapur.

Talking about the short film, it will take the audience into the world of two boys who aspire to become ballet dancers! Yes, you heard it right. The film is based on the lives of these two boys who belonged to a lower-income family and were introduced to the dance form of ballet. Let us also tell you that these boys were the first in India to get a scholarship to study at ballet school in the United States of America. Sounds very interesting, right?

Yesterday, the team announced the beginning of the shoot as they wrote, “Shoot of @roykapurfilms next #YehBallet begins today, a dance musical written & directed by National Award Winning Filmmaker @soonitara #Netflixoriginal Starring #AnchintyaBose #ManishChauhan #JulianSands #JimSarbh Dialogues #VijayMaurya.”

Apart from this, Red Chillies Entertainment’s Class of 83, Farah Khan’s Mrs Serial Killer, Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Anurag Kashyap’s Ghost Stories will also be a part of this 10 film deal.
