Sooryavanshi: Salman Khan announces the new release date of Akshay Kumar’s cop-drama

Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan were up for a big clash as the action star’s Sooryavanshi and the Khan-starrer Inshallah were set to release on Eid, 2020. But we exclusively told you that the clash will be avoided as Rohit Shetty has changed the date of his film’s release and we were absolutely right! We also told you that instead of postponing the release date, Rohit Shetty has preponed the release date of Sooryavanshi and Salman Khan has just confirmed it.

The Bharat star took to his social media page to announce the release date of Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi. The film will now release on March 27, 2020. Salman posted a picture with Rohit Shetty and captioned the image: “always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it… @itsrohitshetty Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March, 2020.” Check out the post right here:

Sooryavanshi is directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Karan Johar and Shetty. The film is the story of an ATS chief played by Akshay and it will have cameos by Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh. Katrina Kaif plays Akshay Kumar’s wife in the film. Stay tuned to CineBlitz for more updates and news.
